Tema taun 2012 adalah "Surprise me, 2012!" and yes, life did surprise me. sedangkan taun 2013 adalah "Bring it on, 2013!". And pretty much i had so much challenges but it all end-up, up until now at least, unexpectedly well for me.
where do i start?
Awal tahun, tepat dua tahun gw di kantor, gw pindah role pekerjaan. Dari finished goods planner divisi fragrances ke customer service divisi flavors. to be honest, i didnt like it. few months later, ada perubahan line business yang meng-eliminasi operation team divisi fragrances. Had i still in fragrance team, i would've eliminated too. few month later, right on my birthday, ditawarin posisi lain yang to be honest, emang gw pengen dari awal, raw material planner. It's not easy, it's much more challenging, but it is what i wanted, i am taking full responsibility towards it.
Traveling-wise. gw banyak jalan-jalan taun ini. Januari gw ke kamboja, angkor wat. Maret ke dieng. April ke padang. Mei ke korea selatan. Juni ke derawan. September ke bali. Desember ke jogja solo. Semua punya kesan masing-masing, jogja solo walau destinasi "biasa" tapi paling berkesan karena sekeluarga Sukamso yg pergi, 9 adults, 4 kids, 2 infants. Kita kelilingnya sampe sewa mini bus lho. Wow, right? i know.
Dan tahun ini gw berolahraga, like literally, gw demen banget lari. Bulan maret coba ikut race 5k, bulan juni ikutan 10k dan oktober 21k. gw merasa lari itu jadi me-time banget, u just keep going and try to finish what u have started. i am not running fast, but i keep going. pas training buat half marathon gw cross training sama renang dan yoga. bulan desember ini baru nyoba master boot camp. asli ketagihan! tapi suka males effort kantor-senayan-rumah nya :p
A book that change my life? It Starts with Food by Dallas & Melissa Hartwig. bahwa sebenernya whole wheat bread, oatmeal, yogurt, soy, low fat blablabla itu gak se-begitu-nya seperti yang diiklankan. u have read it to believe it. gw sekarang berusaha makan sehat, and what i mean by makan sehat are less to no sugar, makan sayur sebagai karbohidrat add protein and healthy fat to my plate. menu sarapan gw adalah steamed greens, broccoli/spinach/carrot, also protein, steamed chicken fillet/meat/egg or poached salmon, and healthy fat, can be olive oil as dressing or avocado. sebenernya pengen banget nyoba whole30. program makan sehat 30hari, untuk nge-reset "badan" kita yang udah keburu kelebihan gula dan mengembalikan sense kenyang/laper juga kerja hormon kita. Tapi, since i am good at making excuses, jadi sampe sekarang belum mulai juga whole30 nya :p
the healthy food choice and the love for running combination have made me lost 2kg. bukan angka yang besar ya? tapi trust me, i have never had so many people telling me that i look kurusan :)

Tahun ini juga gw banyak belajar hal baru. Gw belajar self healing ambil modul 1 dan 2. Yang modul 1 ngajarin DER, biar selaras antara badan dan raga. Sound cheesy? I thought so too, but it works for me. Walau jalan-jalan segitu banyak tapi gw alhamdulillah g pernah tumbang sakit. Tiap menstruasi pun gak merasa ada sakit yang mengganggu. Modul 2 ngajarin TAT. Mengobati luka/trauma batin. Learn to let go of thing that is out of our control. Again, sounds simple. Tapi coba deh, bayangin ganjelan yang simple tapi mengganggu and it is all slowly disappear. Mendamaikan hidup. Gw juga belajar financial planning. Gw ngambil basic certification-nya. Gimana bikin plan yang bener, milih produk. I feel like it is my passion.
Of all that looks like as if it went wrong, it end up pretty much where it suppose to be. Thank you Lord. I have nothing to complaint.
